The first bars decide
The strategy watches the opening minutes for a name gapping into strength, sets a buy-stop above the first bar and a protective stop below it. If price never trades through, there is no trade.
The loss is fixed first
Every order carries its protective stop from the start and is sized to a fixed share of the account, so the most a trade can lose is decided before it fills.

How the numbers are computed
Opening Power figures are the owner's actual results on his own account, time-weighted: each day's result is measured against the money at the start of that day and then compounded, so deposits are never counted as return. Days traded by hand are excluded. Every fill is matched to the broker's own execution records after the close. All figures are in US dollars, net of commissions.
